Beyond, Inc. provides community-based support to children, youth, adults, and families throughout Yazoo County, Mississippi. Our goal is to help families identify needs, connect with trusted resources, overcome barriers to services, and build stronger pathways toward stability and well-being.

We believe families should be able to access help without having to navigate complicated systems alone.

Who We Serve

Our Yazoo County Family & Community Supports program serves individuals and families who may need assistance connecting with community resources and support systems.

Support may include children, youth, parents, caregivers, adults, seniors, and families experiencing challenges related to food access, healthcare, education, employment, transportation, housing stability, behavioral health, or other basic needs.

Services and referrals are based on individual and family needs and the availability of community resources.

Family Resource Navigation

Beyond, Inc. helps families identify and connect with available community and public resources.

Our community resource navigation may include assistance with locating:

• Food and nutrition resources
• Healthcare services
• Behavioral health resources
• Educational programs
• Employment and workforce resources
• Youth programs
• Family support services
• Housing resources
• Transportation resources
• Child and family programs
• Community-based services
• Public benefit information and referral resources

Beyond, Inc. does not determine eligibility for government benefits. Eligibility decisions are made by the appropriate government agency.

Food & Nutrition Support

Food security plays an important role in the health and stability of children and families.

Beyond, Inc. works to connect Yazoo County residents with available food and nutrition resources, including community food programs and information about public nutrition assistance programs.

Families may be connected with resources such as:

• Local food pantries
• Community food distributions
• School nutrition programs
• Summer nutrition resources
• WIC information and referrals
• SNAP information and referral resources
• Nutrition education opportunities
• Other community food supports

Beyond, Inc. does not issue SNAP, WIC, EBT, or other government benefits. We provide information, referrals, community navigation, and connections to the agencies responsible for those programs.

Community Resource Coordination

Families often interact with several different systems at the same time.

Beyond, Inc. works to strengthen connections between families and organizations that serve the Yazoo County community.
